Social Media Monday

Social Media Monday logoSo Christmas is upon us? What does the ?Social Media Monday Tweet?mas Event? have in its stocking for you?

I think we have a few things that?ll get you tapping away @tweetdeck armed with the hashtag #SMUK?!

First of all, we have launched our new website dedicated to the event and all things social. www.socialmediamonday.co.uk will have regular posts from digital industry professionals on the use of Social Media, the effects in Marketing and all the latest tips on the trends and tools. (all the posts are tweet?ed to @socialmedia_uk). We?re looking for people who might want to contribute the odd post or regular article to the site, so please do get in touch.

For December we have a fantastic new private venue, with more space, a dedicated presentation area, food facilities and bar area, so we?re linking up with fellow meet-up group ?Social Networking for Business and Pleasure? (http://bit.ly/SocialB...) to make the most of the venue and share Social Discussion between attendees of the groups. (take a look at the venue http://www.theodore-b... )

So the next event is booked for Monday 14th December 7-11pm (get that in the diary) at the Theodore Bullfrog, Charing Cross.

We're very proud to be introducing two guest speakers;

- Shannon Boudjema of Wunderman - Talking on: ?What?s going on? Social Media?.

- Todd Chaffee of MIKAMAI ?Making Media Social? - Talking on: ?Social Media for Business?.

This will be followed by Q&A / General discussion, Networking and of course your choice of Food, Wine and Beer...

I hope you are able to attend, it promises to be another great event on what is proving to be the biggest buzzword across the web, news and media. We have permission for 120 attendees so we would like members to RSVP at www.meetup.socialmediamonday.co.uk
