PhonOnline.com Teams Up With Content Delivery Giant Limelight Networks, Inc.
After overloading its old servers two weeks ago with enormous traffic, www.PhonOnline.com,
a hot new video sharing site, partners with Limelight Networks, Inc., a
mega content delivery corporation whose 1500+ clients include
corporations such as iFilm, Dreamworks and MSNBC.com on a short list.
The contract was signed just in time for the release of "Real Talk",
PhonOnline's new video and text blog that launched this past Monday.
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) -- As if the last two months of growing up to 1019% wasn't
enough, video sharing site PhonOnline.com has now increased an
additional 659% these past two weeks alone. Now, after its server
meltdown fiasco in April of 2008, the fast growing and widely popular
video sharing site has teamed up with Limelight Networks, Inc. to
accelerate content delivery applications for its users.
The increased stability allows PhonOnline to continue raising its
numbers into the record books. In a press release last Sunday,
PhonOnline.com reported a 4.6 million ranking on Alexa.com with up to
9000 page loads a day. In only its forth week in operation the site had
grown 5.2 million ranking points. The video sharing site stood at
number 521,365 in the US, making claims that this figure was on a
constant rise.
Since April 20, 2008, Alexa.com reported a 2.3 million ranking
increase, a two month average of 7.5 million. Last week's worldwide
ranking increased to 963,468, while PhonOnline's overall average stands
at 3.5 million and their US ranking now rests at 357,962. CEO and
Founder Stephon "Phon" Rudd believes that by the time this story is
covered the numbers should fall yet again, proving that the new video
sharing site is on the right track to success.
With the release of the highly anticipated PhonOnline blog "Real
Talk" featuring suspense novelist Phon, network marketing coach Scott
Rogers, lead blogger/copywriter Michael Sieber and host of other top
writers, the timing couldn't be more appropriate, Phon believes. In
April PhonOnline has transferred over 40 gigabytes of memory in only
its second month.
"40 gigs is microscopic to sites like YouTube but promising to a
company in only its second month," Phon says. "We don't need our
servers going down, especially with the showcase of so many talented
writers at Real Talk."
