marketing, today announced the launch of its LiveEngage Widget Series
1.0. The first version is a Facebook application that uniquely
integrates a brand’s presence on Facebook with
the brand’s own community site.
The new Facebook application can be installed by any Facebook user or by
the brand on its own Facebook page. The application dynamically imports
content such as a featured blog from the brand’s
LiveWorld-provided community site to the user’s
Facebook page. This enables users to engage with other users from the
brand’s site as well as the brand while the
users are still on their Facebook profile pages. Users can participate
in polls and read posts now, with the ability to post comments via
Facebook available later this summer. The brand is able to select and
feature content for Facebook using the same LiveWorld tools used to
highlight content within the branded community site.
