Tyneside Chatter for Your Geordie Patter
New Forum (www.tynesideforum.co.uk)
for all your comments about where you live in Tyneside. Whether it be
Gateshead, Newcastle, South Shields or Jarrow let us know your thoughts.
(PRWEB) -- The Tyneside Forum has been set up by a group of
local "Geordies" from Gateshead and Newcastle to give the people of the
Tyneside conurbation a free unbiased platform for people to shout their
voices from.
The new forum (www.tynesideforum.co.uk)
has a facility for leaving comments and messages for fellow Tynesiders,
also known as Geordies. Bobby Broon, an eccentric character from
Gateshead explains "What we wanted was a simple idea which would give
people of Tyneside to come together and let each other know what's
going on in their particular area" Bobby continues "Whether it be
information about a local charity event or some local news, to their
view about what's good and bad on Tyneside"
What makes the Tyneside Forum different is that it's a non-profit
organisation and the guys running are doing so purely for a hobby.
Bobby Broon says, "Tyneside is one of the largest conurbations in
Europe, and is an unique area of the UK" Bobby smiles "People in
Tyneside are particularly proud to be from the North-East and are
infamous for being friendly. Except at a Newcastle Sunderland derby
game," he laughs. "Look, it doesn't matter how big or small the news is
for the Tyneside Forum, whether it's some breaking cutting edge stuff,
or just the fact to ask if anyone's seen your car keys that were lost
in the park!"
The Tyneside Forum will be carefully monitored of course. Bobby Says
" Bullying and Racism or any libellous comments would not be tolerated,
nor indeed any unsuitable material" he continues," It is a forum for
the whole of Tyneside to be involved with both young and old" The
younger users can educate the older users on what is going on the world
of Tyneside youth and the more mature users can bring lots of benefits
to the forum. Information about Tyneside's recent past, how it used to
be, uploading old photographs and giving their views on how Tyneside
can keep being great.
Tyneside is an area with lots happening and in recent years the UK
people in a national telephone vote chose Newcastle Gateshead to be
"The peoples Capital of Culture". Steeped in history with plenty going
on in terms of sport, leisure, shopping, business, and last but not
least nightlife, there is plenty to shout about. Newcastle was also
voted the eighth best party city in the world by American travel
experts Weissman Travel and it was the only British which made it onto
the list.
