Habbo Hires its HabPrentice
LONDON/PRNewswire/ -- Young Designer Wins Freelance Work With Habbo and Has Work Shown at
Pixel Hail - An Exhibition of Art Inspired by Video Games
Today Habbo announces the winner of 'HabPrentice: Designer Edition', a
search for aspiring graphic artists and designers. The 17-yeard old winner,
Sam Gill, will receive regular paid freelance work with Habbo.co.uk and will
have his winning designs shown at Pixel Hail, an art exhibition of and
inspired by videogames.
Sam beat hundreds of entrants in designing engaging content for the
virtual world, creating graphic materials including a social networking
homepage and virtual advertising billboards.
The winning designs will be shown at the 'Pixel Hail' event in Brighton
on the 23rd 24th of May at the annex of the Fishing Museum. The Habbo winner
will exhibit alongside award-winning videogames artists, and artists whose
creations are inspired in some way by the world's largest entertainment
industry, video gaming.
