B2B Marketing Summit touches down in London next week

A new business event for business-to-business marketers, the B2B Marketing Summit touches down in London next week.

The Brewery in London is the venue for the new one-day event on Thursday, 14 June created to help marketers navigate ever increasing the demands of business world.  Organised by publishers of B2B Marketing magazine, the summit focuses on four channels; content marketing, data insight, lead nurturing and social media.

B2B Marketing Summit logoB2B Marketing has assembled a comprehensive line-up with case studies for delegates including American Express, Fujitsu, Microsoft, Randstad Reed Learning, SAP AG, Thomson Reuters and more.  When booked, delegates can choose to focus on one of the content streams to build their own agenda for the day, or switch between the four above, picking what suits their needs.

Editorial director at B2B Marketing, Joel Harrison revealed in a recent Profiled interview for SMP the challenges that marketers face, in particular with social media.  Harrison comments, “The next big step for B2B in social media is figuring out how to make social interactions truly count as part of demand generation activity, and to robustly measure and justify investment in social channels.”

He summaries social media top tips for marketers and offers predictions for the rest of 2012 and into 2013.
