Ark Media Group ?Marketing and Communicating with Today?s Youth? conference on how to reach younger audiences is set for April

Ark Media Group logoArk Media Group ?Marketing and Communicating with Today?s Youth? two-day conference on how to reach younger audiences is set for April.

The conference from 18-19 April is to be held at Citigate Central in Sydney, Australia and includes a one-day forum and pre-forum.  The event is targeted at communications, PR marketing professionals from both agency and brands who can receive the early discount cost to attend of $945 plus GST registered before 15 March 2013.

The conference offers attendees the platform to share experience and ideas relevant for the Australasian region and globally.  They will be exposed to thinking that considers how young people are consuming media (whether direct or digital) and how to engage with audiences from ages 6-16 years old.  They?ll be in an environment where there will be a discussion on how youth are using technology and how it affects their behaviour.  Given the impact upon culture and how young people interact with each other in addition to brands, the conference is an excellent opportunity to learn how to engage with them effectively using marketing channels such as apps, mobile, print, social networks and so on.

Ark Media Group kids and rainbow image imageDelegates will hear from a rage of agencies, brands, publishers and other stakeholders including Jane Caro, The Gruen Transfer, LiteracyPlanet, Nickelodeon, Scholastic Australia, K-Zone and Total Girl from Pacific Magazines, Skoodle from IMA Education, Playground Communications, Bubble Gum Interactive, iris worldwide, CyberSmart which is part of the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

With a strong balance across the board, there is no doubt there will be plenty of debate around topics such as ethical youth marketing, creating and maintaining safe youth environments, privacy, working with parents and protecting brand reputation when marketing.
