Our Background

Starting out as a phone chat line in 1993, Gay Network has grown to include a television channel, website, mobile portal and 3G video service. We are one of the UK's largest Gay social networks and serve over 50,000 unique customers each and every month.

Our aim has always been to deliver an entertaining, safe, value-for-money chat and dating services for the Gay Community. We're constantly looking at ways to take advantage of new technologies. In fact, broadcasting since 2004, our TV channel was the first ?User Content? channel in the UK, and our 3G Video service, going strong since 2006, was the first chat service to introduce mobile video call technology to the UK gay community.

Gay Network TV

Gay Network TVGay Network TV began broadcasting on Sky Channel 873 in 2004 and was a pioneer in 'User Generated Content TV' in the UK. Our viewers have real-time chats with our channel hosts (Text Jockey's or 'TJs') and send us picture and video profiles for broadcast - all from their mobile phone. Every profile on the channel has a nickname, making it easy for viewers to request private and safe SMS chats when the mood hits. More.
