London, UK ---- World wide dance festival, GlobalGathering http://www.globalgathering.co.uk, is to release its new website, powered by Modera http://www.modera.com software.

Angel Music Group http://www.angelmusicgroup.com, the promoters of GlobalGathering, appointed software company Modera to develop the content management system (CMS) to power its site ahead of its events this summer.  The site build is in partnership with full service advertising agency Media Junction Digital http://www.mediajunction.co.uk.

The GlobalGathering site has soft released with social media, user generated content (UGC) and e-commerce capability from the outset and will experience full functionality toward the end of March 2009.   The first stage of production was completed within two weeks, with the second stage a further three weeks.

Siim Vips, CEO at Modera comments, ?The old GlobalGathering website wasn?t easily accessible for users and search engines due being a static Flash site with limited flexibility.  The main the elements to the site were fragmented and located across various areas that made the management of production work, editorial and general updates of the sites time consuming.?

Modera?s Webmaster Enterprise CMS has consolidated all areas of the sites, managing all the services such as user management, marketing automation, photograph galleries and forums.  These used to be managed by third-parties, but now they work in one central area, which maximises the efficiency of the site.

Vips adds, ?The new site is built using a combination of AJAX, Flash and xHTML allowing it to be more search friendly whilst maintaining a visually appealing nature.  The re-launched GlobalGathering website is much easier for the Angel Music Group team to manage on a global level.?

James Algate at Angel Music Group comments, ?Modera were chosen because we require a CMS that has the ability to control the fluidity of the site and maintain the brand presence for numerous languages across all eight countries the site editors need to cater for.?

The new CMS allows editorial, marketing and production teams to quickly and easily update various rich social content areas of the site; particularly managing content for the event across region and country specific areas.

Algate adds, ?Our aim has always been to make Global Gathering the world's premium festival and be regarded by its ticket holders as the most innovative and exciting event in their calendars. Our festival attendees requirements are the highest priority and the new site is an extension of this.  The new site had to be flexible for us to market the event itself, so it was critical that we chose Modera, a firm that software enables full control of our digital brand.  The GlobalGathering site allows us to continue to push boundaries and work with diverse cultures to deliver a leading website for a leading festival.

GlobalGathering?s editorial team will be able to easily update the audience with artist and DJ line-ups, festival information, locations, photographs and video which can updated more frequently and much more intuitively.?

To reach such a content fuelled audience that absorb and share so much rich content, the site can now be easily enhanced to adopt social media technologies such as Facebook Connect to reach out to followers within their environments and vice versa.
