Cheerz is a social network which creates a social layer on your browser, allowing users to be able to communicate with each other on the website itself. Users will be able to meet, chat and become friends with people around the world who are watching the same site at the same time, distinguishing each other with avatar like icons.

Users can take part on the website's popularity by checking and posting comments on bulletin boards set on each webpage. Also available to users are features to rate webpages and sharing it to friends on Twitter and Facebook.

"We continued to focus on development even after the earthquake, hoping to help Japan revive by launching a new service." said Hideyuki Takei, lead engineer for KLab. "Cheerz makes activities on the web visible, and will help you discover new relations with people and information. I hope people will enjoy the socialized web created by Cheerz." "We have suffered severe damage from the East Japan earthquake, but we are fighting to recover and we believe Japan will rise again." said Tetsuya Sanada, CEO of KLab. "I hope people around the world will use Cheerz and support us."

KLab will donate all revenues made in Cheerz for the next 3 months to support relief efforts following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Cheerz plans to launch the Japanese service later this year in Japan, and plans to support smartphones in the near future.
