The World Tour Continues: Next Smart World Event in San Francisco

Germany ? The Smart World Events, promoting the M2M Challenge, the WT
Innovation World Cup, and the Cloud Innovation World Cup continue. Next stop is
San Francisco, July 22, at the Wearable Technologies Conference, hosted at Fort
Mason Convention Center.
Sensors are
being embedded in more devices and object than ever. Wearable technologies, m2m
and cloud communication are creating new businesses, improving processes, and
changing the way we live and work. The Smart World Events provide a platform
for all those innovative minds with great ideas in these areas. Promoting three
innovation competitions ? WT Innovation World Cup, M2M Challenge, and Cloud
Innovation World Cup (starting October 15) ? these events are a great platform
for inventors, start-ups, and established companies to create new contacts.
As part of
the Wearable Technologies Conference (http://www.wearable-technologies.com/events/wearable-technologies-conference-2013-usa) in San Francisco, July 22, the Smart World Event will be divided into
two sessions. In the first session, Andrew Leone (STMicroelectronics), Volker
Prüller (Texas Instruments), and Philipp Miehlich (VARTA Microbattery) will
talk about ?Smarter Living on a Smarter Planet?. The second session
?Machine-to-Machine / Internet of Things? will feature Brian Gally (Qualcomm
MEMS Technology), Michael Wagner (Telit Wireless Solutions), and Richard Dym
(SIIA).
The next
Smart World Event will be in Fribourg, Switzerland, October 3, 2013.
