Oslo, Norway ?--- Industry leaders will gather at BroadGroup?s new industry event for the Nordic data center and cloud industry on October 15, 2015 in Oslo, Norway (www.datacloudnordic.com). Datacloud Nordic Congress will assess the energy, scalability, security, architecture and software challenges confronting data centers, and how enterprises can successfully manage the transition to cloud.

The one day industry event has an impressive line-up of guest speakers including Gisle M. Eckhoff, CEO of DigiPlex, Mortoen Christiansen, deputy managing director of Coromatic, Anne Graff, Investment and Development director at The Node Pole, Kai Roer, president at Cloud Security Alliance, Norway and Steve Wallage managing director BroadGroup Consulting.

Philip Low, managing director of BroadGroup says: ?The event is attracting interest not only from Nordic organizations wanting to know how to address the many challenges that confront companies adapting to a cloud environment, but also international enterprises and investors who perceive growth and development opportunities across the five key markets.?

Gisle M. Eckhoff, CEO of DigiPlex said: ?For DigiPlex, which is a leading provider of IT housing in the Nordic market, it is important to attend and contribute to the Datacloud Nordic event in Oslo. It is our goal to showcase the Nordics as a financially sound, geopolitically stabile, green and secure location for data centers ? for both international and domestic customers. Datacloud Nordic is well suited as an arena for meeting potential customers, partners and competitors that share a common goal of promoting the Nordics?.

?The Nordic region has become increasingly important in the last 12-18 months. The initial lure has been cheap and green power, but we have seen far more. Government, local councils and co-location and cloud providers are working to develop innovative and customized solutions,? added Steve Wallage, managing director, BroadGroup Consulting.

?The region has led the charge in making users think about their data center location more critically, and particularly to try and understand the total cost of ownership. At the same time, the Nordic region is not immune from wider trends ranging from software defined data centers to cloud to new chipsets to IoT to industry consolidation. The challenge for the region now is to develop a more sophisticated and differentiated message, and to meet specific vertical market and solution needs.? Continued Wallage.

Targeted at senior executives in the data center, hosting and cloud industries, enterprise end users, investors, infrastructure and technology providers, Datacloud Nordic will deliver a rich and innovative programme of keynotes, panel sessions, workshops and product demonstrations offering a complete view of the market, its developments, new solutions, trends and innovations.
