Fireside Chat: Insiders are the New Malware
Varonis technical evangelist Brian Vecci will present in theatre #160 on Tuesday, May 3, at 12:30 p.m. PT. He will examine how user behavior analytics can help data owners identify when an employee is accessing data outside of their normal habits, either maliciously or as the victim of credential theft. By spotting these behaviors early on, organizations can protect their data from insider threats and outside attackers that get inside.

David Gibson, Vice President of Strategy and Market Development at Varonis, said, "We're thrilled to be demonstrating at EMC World the UBA threat models found in our DatAdvantage and DatAlert solutions for unstructured data monitoring. Unstructured data is the largest, most valuable and sensitive category of data, and the data that most companies know the least about, which also makes it the target of most cyberattacks, like ransomware. We’ll also be previewing new technology from Varonis that we’ll be announcing ahead of the show.”
