TV Connect announces and celebrates award winning organisations for 2018

London, UK ---- TV Connect, the video distribution exhibition at the heart of the broadcast industry, has announced this year?s winners of its prestigious awards programme, the TV Connect Awards 2018. Taking place in the evening of TV Connect day one, which returns to Olympia London for two days this week (9 ? 10 May 2018), the grand awards ceremony in South Kensington, London, highlighted the best-of-the-best in content delivery and connected entertainment. The annual awards ceremony gathered trailblazing leaders and companies to spotlight some of the industry?s most cutting-edge visionaries who are embracing forward-thinking ideas and solutions in areas including AI, content personalisation OTT, immersive video experiences and more.

Among the categories of the TV Connect Awards 2018 is the People?s Choice Award which honours exceptional talent in the connected entertainment industry. Voted for by the public, this year?s winner is Claire McHugh, CEO and co-founder of Axonista. ?Industry leaders deserve to be recognised for their dedication to shaping the video distribution landscape we know today, and we?re excited to give the People?s Choice Award 2018 to Claire McHugh for her pivotal role in helping power a new generation of interactive video and OTT experiences,? said Szabo.
