The partnerships come after improvements to the Eggnetwork Advertising Platform (EAP), which allows sites to easily integrate VideoEgg's in-video advertising into their own video platforms.

Matt Sanchez, CEO of VideoEgg equates video sharing sites such as MetaCafe to the new MTv.  He says, "Brands need to find innovative ways to get video in front of young consumers who are not sitting in front of the television. imeem, Metacafe and Buzznet are influential media brands with great momentum, and we are delighted to be partnering with them to deliver rich media advertising to their users in a respectful manner.?

EAP now allows for demployment into any Flast based environment.  The EggNetwork has over 200 sites (and applications) in its network, including hi5, Bebo and Flixter and together with its new partnerships gives advertisers access to over 50 million unique users.

?We?re committed to delivering an exceptional entertainment experience, cultivating a vibrant community of independent producers, and building Metacafe into a global media company focused on short-form video,? said Erick Hachenburg, CEO of Metacafe. ?Incorporating in-video advertising from VideoEgg helps us meet each of these objectives.?

Last month, VideoEgg were selected as a winner of the Red Herring 100 Global Award due to their innovation and success in online video advertising.

In September 2007, VideoEgg received $15 million USD in funding.
