The Engagement Debate ?08 will bring together digital marketing experts from a range of high profile companies including Universal McCann, Fox Interactive Media, TBWA, Ogilvy and Quantcast.

Ian Schafer, CEO of media planning agency Deep Focus says, ?The dialogue around how to best engage consumers online is building steam as marketers begin to establish best practices and industry standards.  While there are many metrics advertisers and publishers use to gauge online ad effectiveness, it is for our industry?s own good that we have a lively debate about which are best. VideoEgg?s Engagement Debate 08 is going to be a thought-provoking day that will address the challenges and opportunities that all marketers now find themselves faced with.?

The event, aimed at brand marketers, media executives, advertising agencies, new media journalists, industry analsysts and technology experts, will be held at the Hard Rock Café in New York on the 20th of February.  Speakers will discuss the proliferation of social media and how this changes content delivery, measurability, accountability and how to demonstrate results.

To compliment the Engagement Debate, VideoEgg released a prospectus that takes a look at those endeavoring to define digital marketing engagement.
