MySpace users will be encouraged to choose their preferred Presidential candidate.

The poll will open on 01 January 2008 at 3:01am EST and close at 11:59pm on 02 January 2008.  Results will be available the following day (03 January 2008).

The MySpace Impact Channel aims to inspire users to make a difference in the world by connecting them directly with politicians, non-profits, civic organisations etc.  The Impact Channel has become a community-hub for the 2008 elections and hosts the official MySpace pages of the Presidential candidates.

In addition to the Impact Channel, MySpace have recruited well known American television personalities to record short video spots for the "Declare Yourself" campaign - which aims to encourage young American's to vote in the upcoming election.
